She runs!!
The goal to get the car started was January first. We missed it by one hour. I installed 5.3L heads, a Torquer Cam, HS Roller Rockers, an LS6 intake, 30Lb SVO injectors, and a slug of small things. Of all the people in my garage, I was the only Chevy guy! I had 3 Ford guys helpin out. Of course a project like this always has a glitch and here is mine...... The O ring from the old oil filter stuck to the block, so I dumped all the oil on the ground as soon as it started. Quick fix, and now she sounds MEAN. Thanks for listening to my rambling guys.
congrats
. i just finished up installing my clutch and tranny myself. all thats left is the k-member and motor mounts and i can drop everything back in.
are you running the svo's on stock tune?

I scaled the IFR by 125, and adjusted the screw on the TB a little. I also used the 60-80-90-90 on the VE. I cycled the key a few times to pump up the fuel system and she fired up the first time up. Actually, she idles pretty good right now. Tomorrow I'll ATAP it and tune some more.
congrats man, i remember when i heard my car crank up for the first time, gave me chills! cant wait to actually beable drive it on the roads! but good luck tuning, sounds like you know what you are doing so i am sure that you will have no problem!
Good stuff man. im hoping my damn torquer will hurry up and get here along with all the other parts. it's a bummer looking at my poor camaro just sitting in the garage waiting for parts. That stock shortblock looks so lonely in there. hopefully some of the oak harbor f-body guys will show up to lend me a hand.
