Default max lift on stock unmilled heads?

I'm currently running a .588 lift, but am looking into a more aggressive cam such as the g5x2, which has a .595/.608 lift.

I tried the search feature and didnt find anything.

What's the max lift you can run on stock/unmilled heads w/ out having to cut the pistons?

thanks for any help.

There is no answer to that question. It's a matter of each specific grind. The lift isn't waht gets you anyway, it's the duration and LSA. G5X2 will clear for sure, the X3 on a 114, and now we even have a G5X4 .

Yes. If you want to read up on that do a search and there will be a very long thread about it.
