I need some info for a good engine set up I have a 99 SS and so far I have a MTI intake lid, borla catback and 100 dry shoot by nos. With this a got 12.11 on street on the 1/4 mile. I've also bought a set of GTP stage III Ls6 heads with the cam to match and an Holley intake in order to use the NOS pro race fogger system. What should I go with; a stroker kit or same CID but with forged parts.

Re: I need some info for a good engine set up If you got the loot than I say go all out with the stroker. It all depends on how deep your pockets are. The more you spend the faster you will go.

Re: I need some info for a good engine set up It all depends on how much you want to spend. With those heads I would go to a bigger bore though. JPR has the all bores for $4250 I think. I was in the same boat and ended up building a 422 to get everything done and out of the way with one shot.
