going by the older lobe design and comparing it to other cams available at the time i'd wadger ~280 duration @.004/.006. lobe center line is 110 as if not all the cams back then cam with 4* advance. lobe lift is .324.

VE's @ .050 should be:

IVO - 0
IVC - 40
EVO - 48
EVC - -8
overlap = -8

well,i was going to have Ed grind me a cam,but my daily driver broke down,and had to use most of my cam money to fix it stupid 170,000 mile truck.so that will have to wait for a little while.in the meantime i'll just stick with the TR220,but this time i want to degree it.hopefully,my heads will be here next week and i can start tearing down the motor.

ok,i edited my post to reflect VEs at .050.lft. dur.at.006 is 271.1 int. ,272 exh.i have about 7 degrees overlap.damn,i wish my truck hadn't broken down,i was looking forward to what Ed was going to come up with.if it was sunny California where i lived,i woudn't worry about my truck right away and got the cam.but i'm not going to drive on snowy Indiana roads with my 3000 stall TQ,lol.

yeah,i screwed up.i'll edit the post to reflect the right numbers this time.i sent them a set of 5.3s that i have and told Brad i just wanted a "stg. 1" type of porting,milled to reach about 11.1 CR with the stock 5.7 size valves.so i asked him to hand port them to keep runner volumes down,as i'm running a smaller cam than a lot of people on here and i want the port velocity as high as possible.so the flow numbers won't be as impressive to a lot of people but should make for a fun street car.yeah,after talking with Ed i'm sure it would have been a lot different than the "norm" you see on the boards. not near as big as the "Gigantanator" lol.
