Anyone Tried a TSP 235/240?
I just orderded one. Full specs are 235/240 .602/.598 112. I did a search on the enitre forum and came up blank. I know this isn't a common cam, but I thought someone else might have one. It's supposed to have close to XER lobes, and I'm installing it with a fresh set of Comp 918's. Any comments? Not sure what to expect.

I'd like to see the advetised duration. The cam has 2 diffrent lobes for intake and exaust, so it would be interesting to see which lobes they used. Should be a great performer. It should perform like a G5X-3 since the numbers are similar, but again, since the lobes are diffrent, performance may vary.

I don't like duals because they are heavy. I think springs hold up better if they are not moving so much weight, and part of the weight that they move is their own weight. And look how much smaller and lighter the retainers are on 918's. I run stock valve sizes for the same reason. That's just MHO. Weird, huh? But I'm not a drag racer, so I have different priorities. In Land Speed racing, I may need to hold peak rpm for 30 seconds to a minute, so I have to think about durability.

About the specs on the G5X-3 I was wondering because of the decision on which cam to go with with the AFRs? If it was posted before I didnt know I am new to this forum. Is there any post that shows power output or graph for torque range? Thanks

CAL, Thanks. Would I have to flycut the pistons with an AFR 205 62cc and the g5x-3? That sounds like a good pwr maker and still streetable, sweet. I just want to make some serious power, close to 500rwhp as possible, and put an a$$kickin on my buddies 03 cobra!
