Default LSX or LS6

I need a higher flowing intake manifold but im not sure the LSX is worth the extra 300 dollars. How much of a power gain difference is there if any?

Do have an ls6 intake right now. Also do you have ported heads.

the 90mm is worth 10-25rwhp depending on application. the 78mm isnt worth it at all.

Even on stock heads??? I thought the ls6 intake flowed more air than the heads did.

If you decide on a LS6 go to the southern section and SS Rally Red just posted up a link to a great sell on GM stuff. LS6 is pretty resonable on there.

Get the LS6 intake. They are going for very reasonable prices here on the board. If you want LSX, get 90mm or dont get it at all. The 78 will not make a noticeable difference over the LS6.

When you say the lsx is an extra 300, don't forget the cost of a 90mm tb.

I would not even bother with the 78. If you are going to do it do it right. Get the 90.
