Default How far can my heads be milled with a C2 cam?

I don't want to run into any Piston to Valve Clearance problems with a set of 5.7 Liter heads. So I'm wondering how far can the heads be milled so I don't run into PTV clearance trouble?

Thanks in advance

Floyd

I ran mine at .060 when i ran the MTI dual springs and MTI stage 2 heads and the C2 cam.

Good luck.

If you go that far the push rods will have to be changed.

Yea, I just realized that, thanks Shawn. How far can I have them milled without changing pushrod length?

What is the spec's of the C2 cam? As i'm going though the same problem myself. I'll be getting my heads this week (SII 5.7 milled .30) along with my custom 228/235 .588.602 cam, and I'm worried about my P/V clearance as-well. Can someone shed light on this please. Also, do I stick with the stock length pushrods (7.4) or go with 7.35??????????????

I have 224/224 cam .581/.581 lift on 112 Speed inc.cam, miled 30tho on the heads and stock pushrods. If that helps you.

So U used an MTI C2 cam with heads that were milled .060?

I have ls6 heads milled .055 and I am worried about piston/valve clearance issues...

Did you clay the pistons; use a thicker than stock head gasket? What clearance did the cam provide? What sized pushrods did you use?

Thanks...
