you need to do a search, there is a four page discussion about this cam on the second or third page.
but yes it will work, how well will you like it, i dont know? you could get by, but it will be so much better after you get it tuned!

The hotcam is one of the only cams in that size area you wont be "alright" with on stock tune.

The Z06 camshaft is MUCH milder than the Hotam. Why would he need a tune for the Z06 but be ok with the Hotcam? 
just get a mail order tune, i bought my hotcam, and computer from two different people. the computer was already tuned and i must say it runs great! no stallin or studdering or anything

its the cam that never dies.you need a tune, HC i installed for a local guy would barely run and stay idling. in gear idle w/ the a4 is like 550rpm, m6 is 750.
