My baby cam install was a Thunder Racing kit that cost $800.00. By the time I purchased the entire kit with GM gaskets/seals/harmonic balancer bolt, it ended up costing me $950.00 just to have it installed. I thought that was high ... until I had the installer check the book time. With spring install and the works, it actually would have been about $1,300.00.

If you can get a cam installed with GM gaskets/seals, full dyno tuning, and reputable service afterwards for under $1,000.00, IMHO that's the way I'd go. But, that's just me. I don't have much money, however, it could end up costing you major damage to your engine if it's not done right. I've heard nothing but good things about Norris/Vinci installs. I don't think you could go wrong with either shop. I know Mike's folks are a real pleasure to do business with. ... my .02 cents.
