I think I am going to email TSP and Futural, since they seem to have the best daily driver cams. I would prefer a 114lsa just for a better idle. Why would I not want a cam that makes more top end power for a DD?

ASA is .525/.525. The "02" LS6 cam is .550

Wow...there is not much difference. The showroom stock one is pretty wild though.

[QUOTE=soslo]also consider where each cam is making power...you don't want you DD cam to peak at 6700 rpms.

Exactly. You should be moslty concerned about low to midrange power for a daily driver cam. It will be alot more fun than having to rev your car to the moon to make power.

Eastside has a few that are real good for daily drivers. P.M. Chef here on these boards, he has one in his car, and has for 2 years.... and he drives his car every day. I think he made around 390 Hp to the tires with the cam and bolton stuff.

beat me to it. to many people wanna throw in the latest and "greatest" cam paying no mind where this power is made. and then they wonder where all there tq went.

my vote is tried and true tr224 112 or if you dont want to have a "small" camm, step up too the FM13.

So a lot of the FMS cams will make power down low and be good for a daily driver, even the FM14? Not too big for a daily driver? I gotta PM alan and see what he thinks. Im either leaning towards a TSP 233 or 233/239 or a FMS cam, FM 13/14?
