Which LS6 parts on the 2002 engine?

Which LS6 parts on the 2002 engine?

I remember reading in a thread that the 2001 or 2002 LS1 engine had the LS6 oil pump & timing chain factory installed.

However, I have not been able to confirm this.
Can anyone point to evidence that this is/is not true?

I have search the "01-02 Specific Engine Changes" for this information, but have not found it.

Also, did the 2002 F-body get a Corvette clutch?

Sposed to have the ls6 intake. And the z06 Clutch and master cylinder.

I believe they do have the LS6 oil pump or something very close to it. I believe the part # may be different, but when I replaced mine with the LS6 pump I couldn't see a difference in them.

We've known about the LS6 intake and block from articles for some time.

What isn't as clear is the oil pump, timing chain and clutch.
It would be best if we could nail down a source for the info.

as far as i know only about 25% of the 02 ls1s actually got the ls6 block
and i heard or read less than 10% of the 01's

but all 01 02 ls1's came with the ls6 intake and clutch.

i have since lost the link ill look around for it later on...
