Default zo6 valve springs

I need to make the factory beehive ZO6 valve sprigns work on a set of 1996 iron vortec heads. The problem is the retainer, any help on this situation would be very much appreciated.

The answer is simple. There isn't a retainer available to do this. The I.D. of a stock spring is too small.
