Barely making 450 at the wheels with TEA worked AFR's on a 402.

Spend the extra grand elsewhere.

so BlueSix: were those the only 2 cars(the one above and PDD's car) you saw that didn't "impress" you?

I tuned a car with a 244/248/60x/60x/115. It was a motor built by HPE. Stock heads, LS6 intake. It made 460/460. This car drives awesome. With 342's, you can lug around at 1500rpm, no surge what-so-ever. Cruises in 6th gear down the freeway like a stocker.

Actually i posted 3 cars Those are the three that i thought about right off the bat. I'm sure i could find more.

Tell you what, you show me three cars that HAVE gotten good results that would merit spending the extra cash to have the heads worked by TEA.

Just out of curiousity, anybody ever thought about putting a F13 in a 408? Specs are 230/233 .595/.585 112lsa. I knows its small but what do you guys think? I have a brand new one & was thinking about trying it first until I get my injectors.

i think youll need more injector even with that tiny cam (for a 400x cubed motor)

I know it doesnt make much difference, but they arent the 26.6's they are the 28.8's. How do you think it will perform?

I didnt know what type of cam to go with when i bought my 408.. so i let the engine builder pick it, they say is a milled cam. the size is 240/247 639/647 on 114.. its pretty streetable and does feel like it has a lot of torque but after 3k it pulls.. when my complete tune is done I'll dyno to see what it does hopefully it goes over the 500rwhp..
