Default p to v clearance

would there be any issues with 6.0 heads with 2.055/1.57,stock shortblock.

Im not 100% sure because of the 6.0 heads but I think you might have to flycut your pistons. Maybe someone with more knowlegde will have something to say.

i know it would clear if i had the 2.02 valve but i'm not sure with the 2.055

I was told there can be up to a .010 variance in piston to deck clearance with the LS1 (mine ended up being .005 out of the hole). I'd err on the side of caution and check PTV with your new head gaskets. The consequences of being wrong are too catastrophic to take a chance. MHO

L G Motorsports rents out the tool for $100.I think it comes with a mock up head and cutting tool.

The 6.0 heads have more p to v than stock ls1 heads so you should be fine, but it also depends what lsa the cam is. My cam is bigger then that and it fits fine with stock ls1 heads, and i'm getting some 6.0 heads and mine had about 30 on intake and 60 on exhaust for p to v. If you due have to use the tool to cut valve relief just be very carfull not to got any metal in the cylinders. good luck
