but people just want some more out of their daily driver to make it different than all the others. and companies make more money off the average consumer than only specializing in race only people. just like back in the day of selling cars. win on sunday, sell on monday. manufacturers give money to racers, to in turn sell more cars. there isn't any money in racing for the manufacurers. most are comping to the big time racers so they can sell to the average racer.
