Default 228/230 571/573 112+4 lsa

Just bought this cam...

tried to search but didnt come up w/ much so I have a few questions..

What HP can I expect w/ stock heads on a bolt on A4 Car?
Whats the +4? haha probably need to know b4 i bought the cam right...
I want to run n/a good and 100 shot good.. Will it be good w/ both? Better for which?

918's should be good for this right?
hardened pushrods
titianium retainers
anything else?

Also I have seen a lot of good things about the 224 cams making more usable power than the larger ones...

This is a daily driver will I be ok? Probably going w/ a 3200 or 3500 md stall...

thanks for any help

This is the biggest shelf grind from Comp Cams has before going to the XE-R grinds and should make great power. The +4 should mean that its 4 advance which makes it on a 108 icl based of off the 112 lsa. I would guess 360 or so at the ground without knowing other details. I personally like this cam too.

It is an XE grind, 918's will be plenty.

oh one more important thing...

The 112lsa and me spraying a 150-200 shot... How bad is that 112lsa? I mean will it work better than stock just not as good as a 114 or is it just bad?

Do you want it to run good on the spray or on motor? My rule is build the engine to run N/A and then spray what ever you want for a street car.

Sounds like a good rule to me

And if it a 150 shot will do just as good w/ this cam as the stock cam then im good...

with the split and lift diff. on this cam, you should smell like a rose when you juice her

i like the specs on that cam as well! i'm not sure if i want to stay close to 230 or get somthing like an fm14.

Actually for spray (big shots) more split and reverse lifts EXPL:

228/232, .575/.571 113 lsa 109 ICL
