Default (Edit: Dyno #'s inside now)Nastysupaspt's H/C buildup pics(Not 56K friendly!!)

I hosting some pics for another forum member "nastysupasptss" . His H/C buildup was done by Ron Williams and just completed 2 days ago. He is still letting the clutch break in but it should be a ton of fun once it is. Here is the setup:
2002 Camaro SS
Lid/filter
asp pulley
hooker longtubes
ORY pipe
Corsa Exhaust
Granetelli maf
LS6 Style heads w/ 63.5 cc chambers
Comp cam 236/236 .595/.595 112lsa
LS6 ported high flow oil pump
double roller timing chain
chromoly pushrods
Spec 3
Spec 3 billet flywheel
stock intake manifold
stock rear end
stock tb

he is hoping for power in the 430whp range. Here are some pics for him. Chime in Damian when you get a chance.

Nice. Should be a fun combo. LS1's are sexy engines until the intake, coil packs and wiring are installed and then they turn butt-ugly quick.

Because it's easier.

Is that RTV around the header flanges?

It really is not necessary for a H/C swap.
Great setup however!

I heard this car at an idle, and it sounds insane. I have no cats, and no "real" muffler, and I couldn't even hear my car while we were driving down the street. This is the way a car should look and sound! Congrats Damian...and Doug said he'll run you first! I'll wait to see the results!

Dont worry, it was a joke. Atleast I HOPE it isnt loc-tite. My dad did have a friend lube his fishing reel up with loc-tite once. Worked real good for the first minute or two, he said...

Ha, ha, it is engine assembly lube. That was pretty funny. Mechanic is a big boy with a bad back. It takes him about 1.5 hrs to drop the motor and he prefers to do it this way for the ease of not having to lean over the motor is all.

Nice setup and SS. I agree about the Corsa being really loud with no cats. I ran that setup for awhile but I had to throw some cats on as I DD mine alot.

thanxs alot guys especially to doug and ron (the Mechanic) for the help. i love how the car runs and sounds. but like doug said i have to break the clutch in yet. Then we will see some dyno numbers. I tell you what though it is great when a mustang pulls up to you and says he doesn't wanna run cause the car sounds sick.

I've pulled the motor out of the bottom and pulled the heads in the car. Save yourself some time and do a thorough job by pulling the motor.

I'm just buttoning my baby back together from a similar project and I replaced my motor mounts with polyurethane ones from Energy Suspension. I think they were 40 bucks, I got them from Summit.
