Question Z06 cam in a stock Z28????

thinking of buying a z06 cam for my stock z28 but nt sure if it would work well with it or if its even worth it?

I would think you could find a better cam that would net you some better gains, for roughly the same price. You can also find pretty cheap used ones, that work fine, and will show a lot more power.

fir all the time and money to swap cams i wouldnt go smaller then a 224. jmo

It's worth it if it meets your goals. What are your goals for the car?

The LS6 cam is good for absolute stock street manners w/ a 20 hp boost on the top end of the rpm range. I think it is a good street / weekend warrior cam if you have to have stock idle, street manners and reliability.

The LS6 cam can work well untuned as well. You'll find more HP tuned but it is a good plug and play cam.
