Does anyone know how good they are?The stageII heads have 2.020/1.575 and with exchange are 1799.The LS6 heads with exchange are 2320.That sounds like a pretty good price to me.Anyone here run them?

Yes katech buids excellent products for our cars. They won the lemans 24hr endurance race I beleive with their c5r vette.
Yeah I know they hit the mark with the C5R block and heads.I was wondering if anyone had first hand knowledge of the LS1 heads.

If your looking for the best bang for the buck heads then RGR from speed inc is the way to go but be prepaired to wait a while.

that is the only dealing i have had with there heads. they have other parts that are well engineered tho.
dont know if the results where a fluke on that car or not since it s the only set i have seen.

Best bang for the buck might have to go to the LS6 heads that are CNC ported, offered direct through GM. Part # are in the recent Car Craft.

PN 12480176, $906.50 + tax & shipping each dealer cost including the 02 lightweight valves, good 02 springs, etc. A VERY good deal considering no core, etc., fully CNC'd, stuffed with good parts.
I might just know of a red 01 Formula that may end up with a set of them on it.

"""Price is for each cylinder head.""""
Hardly bang for the buck at $1800.

New LS6 heads, new lightweight valves, new 02 springs, CNC ported, assembled, no core required for around the same price lots of guys are paying for ported LS1's often requiring a core charge. Oh well, good for some, not for others.
