Default What springs to go with for a 222/222 560 lift 114lsa?

I have a 222/222 560 114LSA, it currently has dual springs, don't know which kind. I broke an outer spring and need to replace them. I don't know what to go with. I have LS6 stage 2 heads. Will LS6 springs be ok? For a 99 SS.
thanks
Kyle

Get PRC duals. You will change cams again and why not just do the valvesprings once?

Comp 918's are sufficent and there are many educated members running them on XE-R (harsh) lobes with over .600 lift. Install height and spring pressure are a biggy.

either of the 2 mentioned will work. But if you are going to get a bigger cam you may as well get the duals again

918's are more than enough and have much better harmonics than heavy duals, not to mention a lot lighter.
I run 918's with a 224, .581 XE-R lobes.

I have lots of confidence in Comp. Their customer service is awesome.

Seems like most people put a cam in their car and wish they'd gone bigger. If he pulls that and goes for a more radical grind, the PRC/Comp 921 are added insurance.

There are many more educated members running Comp 921s or PRC springs.

The 921s are larger in diameter - the heads have to be modified for them to fit if I remember correctly!

Comp 921's are 1.30". Comp 978 and 977 1.46", spring pockets must be enlarged. Brian at Comp will point you in the right direction.
