First the Vette has a better weight distribution than the F-Body – stock-to-stock. That gives them better traction right off the bat. The weight per vehicle, the Vette weights less (this has been pointed out before).

If I'm not mistaken, the Vette's have higher flow catalytics and higher flowing
mufflers.
From what I've read, the Vette's have always dyno'd higher because of this
(comparing similar production years).
I'll have to do some digging to confirm this.

This is what really gives the vett its top end power at high speeds
by the way E.J.C.O.D= electronic injection crack on demand. lol o man i craked my self up i bet you guys where reading that post and wondering what i was smoking, lol o man tu funny .

yeah, the less and weight and the fact the vette transfers what weight it has better. Isnt the intake a lil different on a vette? or not? but also, the exhaust is a big restrictor. The Y pipe is killer.

2 things make them faster,
1 weight
2 aerodynamics
Race a vette with the same power lvl and notice that the fast you go the harder they pull, The fbods are truely qtr mile cars.

nothing a couple of bolt ons can't fix. Not trying to make any C5 owners mad, but the ones that don't use this board keep there cars stock and use it for a status symbol. Beating them shouldn't be a problem. Don't get my wrong, my next car is going to be a C6 M6 in silver.
