We have customers with 20k plus using our Patriot Gold spring. Other "gold" springs have not been on the market long enough to get this type of mileage on them.

When putting aftermarket springs, one should do a yearly maintenance and measure the springs.
Now as it has been said many times before, this does not mean you'll change them, but it will give you an idea if anything is going wrong (weakening springs)
this should be done just like changing oil etc.....
Call it mod maintenance.

You have to have a spring tester, basically a scale that measures how much pressure a spring exerts at different heights.

Summit carries a couple of different ones:

PRO-66774 up to 300lbs
PRO-66775 up to 700lbs

Both are $214.88.

Unlike the "other" gold springs on the market, the PRC springs were tested by PRC prior to taking them to market. The customer was not the guinea pig. Not every company can say that. We also know they work well because we run them on our personal vehicles. We just finished putting together an '01 WS-6 T/A that we recently bought, and we're running a hydraulic-roller camshaft with .640" lift. The difference is having enough faith in the products you sell to run them on your personal vehicles.

heheh...no kiddin' I'm getting tired of this PRC vs PP spring issue...it's freaking childish as hell...

What's not childish is my idea: Let's arrange a romantic dinner for Gunnar and Trevor. That will help them in achieving the truce...

no tension here It's just part of defending a product after another vendor goes out of his way to discredit it. We run what we sell, and I think that's worth something to customers to know that a vendor trusts a product enough to run it on their own vehicles.
