Patrick,

Do you think this cam would pass California smog ??

I was considering a 228/228 cam on like a 116 and cross my fingers to pass smog.....

-7 degrees of overlap at .050" is the general cutoff point between passing emissions and not. The CheaTR cam has -10 degrees so it's fine. A 228/228 116LSA cam is -4 degrees and will probably be too dirty to pass smog test.
