why dual? comp 918s are made for this sort of cam. the lift is 598"/598" 918s should work fine with the f14. Right?

they will work fine, but for how long?
seems like the futral cams are agressive. id go with a quality dual. overkill is better than borderline.

I run the F13 w/PRC duals. For a little extra $$$, the "insurance" of a dual spring is worth paying for.

You can get either the PRC or Patriot Gold kit for around $290. Not too bad of deal if you ask me.

Can i just buy the dual patriot gold springs, and use the stuff from my cam now. IE. Retainers, Locks and Seals. Or do i have to buy all the kit, for the new valve springs?

i got comp 918s right now. with titanium retainers and harden pushrods. Or do i have to buy the kit? thanks.

you need the full kit as all the parts work together. pushrods dont matter.

good luck with that. you don't have the ***** to steal my rear end.....unless you want to be !trans am

and 99camaroSS_, its so cheap to buy the new PP Gold kit why would you want to find just the springs from a member? AFAIK most sponsors will only sell the Golds or the PRC's as kits.

If you have decent 918's already installed you can prob get away with running them for a while. That'd save you a little although I'd prob look into duals next time you go back into it.

Yea im just gunna look for the Gold Kit. Plus once i get the other cam and springs out i can turn around and sell them. Since i bought the 918s brand new about 5k miles ago. So its really not that much after i thought about it. Especially when i can get 200+ from this comp cam as well. Thanks for all the help guys! i should be gettin the FMS f14 cam in about 2 weeks. Im graduating then, and im starting to rake in the dough to buy it!

Cant wait to get it. Then this summer after working for about 2 months ill be able to get some TEA Stage 1.5 Heads!

might wanna check with allan and see if this cam will clear without having to flycut the pistons. he told me it was pretty close with an f14 but the f13 was good and with any kind of milled heads or bigger valves, you will wanna check this out before you go starting the car up

you were talking about getting tea heads, if they are milled then you could have some problems or if they have bigger valves. i think f14 on stock heads you are OK but im not 100% positive, always good to check though. but if you are getting heads i woudl definately check into it
