Once you take the intake off you just pull the big round plugs off the top of the valley cover and pinch (you'll see what I mean when you get in there) the attached wires off of the sensors. Then you just unscrew them. I doubt you'll be able to tell anything from just looking at them... unless both are completely missing

The knock sensors are supposed to read a certain ohm value . Anybody with a GM manual handy wanna chime in and let him know what that is ? Im at work or else I would look it up in mine . ..

Well, knock retard is now showing 0 and the car drives great. Still waiting for a compression guage to test the cylinders. Other than that.....

No, just re-scanned the car with the new plugs/wires and better gas....
