Your more than welcome to bring those heads down here & we can have a local flow bench compare them...

When I get my PRC's and the TSP cam I will be more than happy to post up all the results from the dyno and the track. All these flow #'s and dyno #'s don't mean that the car is gonna perform. But, I'm pretty confident that when my car goes to the track with the PRC 2.5 5.3's thats its gonna put down some nice times! I think Jason and the guys over at TSP do a good job and have answered all of my questions completely. The guys over at TEA do good work but I definately think their flowbench has a problem with lying. And I don't really like the way they do business with smart *** comments flying around all over the place. Brent did help me out with some much needed info that I really appreciate it, but I'm still going with TSP and the PRC's and we will just have to see how it goes. But, I'm willing to bet that I'll be 100% satisfied!

I really don't wish to drag out the Heads argument buuuttt, I am confused because Texas Speed appears to sell TEA heads. Can someone PM me or nicely explain why the competition between the two. Is TEA and Total Engine Airflow two different companies? THanks,

Jim K.

Brent does a hell of a job with customer service, thats your decision the TEA heads arent for the weak at heart! Keep telling yourself TEA's flowbench is lying and a few months from now when they keep coming out with cutting edge products you still will be kicking yourself....

with stock exhaust valves they flow pretty good imo, I know they arent the badest thing on the block but I was happy with the service and treatment I received on multiple phone calls to TEA. Since receiving the product I am very happy with the look of the heads....just need to find some time to do the install and I am sure I will be happy with the results

Wait a min, so w/o actually knowing how they perform on your car , you're pushing the heads cause of some in house flow numbers and "the look of the heads"??!! Dude, you got a lot to learn.

Matter of fact, while you still have the heads sitting in your floor waiting to be installed, why dont you have them flowed by an independent flow bench to see how they really flow?!

Yeah you have obviously not done much research around this board.. Flow numbers don't mean everything and the "look" of the head don't mean jack **** when it comes to performance. TEA heads are good heads. There is no doubt about that. Noone is arguing with that.. I'm sure their customer service is good but it has to be good considering the corporate side of things.. But, since you have the heads then why don't you get them independantly flow tested before you go spouting off about how well they flow and how great they are over everyone elses stuff. You might be suprised!

Although i hear with the 5.3 heads it raises your compression, is it still ok to run nitrous through it if i ever wanted too? Also what would be the best cam to run that would be similar to the FM13 from TSP?
thx rob
Go with the Torquer r.2, a little bigger than the FM13...more along the lines of an FM14. Fairly large cam, can be docile with proper tuning, and makes good power.
