ive researched these cams alot lately, and its my understanding that they make identical power and have identical drivabilty, and the only noticable difference is the sound. i've run across alot of daily driven F13's on this board, and a few F14's, both say the drivablity is awesome. i have finally decided on the F13 myself because of all the positve feedback on it. hope this helps!

im pretty tired of the crap i deal with, with my cam...i get things fixed and then it comes back...a lot of jerking and stuff...it may be my driving style (a lot of low rpms) but still it's annoying...i'm sure there are better driving cams out there

i dont know about you, but i wish i would have gone that route in the first place. everyone seems to be making similar numbers with our cams (I have the torquer) and i honestly expected more. IMO either the f-13 or f-14 would be great, though i think i'm going to go much bigger.

when you say your a "low rpm driver" you might want to look into the F13, b/c i know with my 14, anything below 1300 the car starts to buck some...i dont notice it as much in higher gears (5,6) but 1st, 2nd, and 3rd get alil rough...i just make sure that when im cruising that im around 1500 and im fine...i dont know the driving habbits of the 13, they could be the same, but id think since it is alil smaller it might not be bad...ill prolly get a new rearend with 373/390 when that time comes, and i know that will help with the bucking...anyhow, hope that helps alil...

well i have 3.73's and i buck at anything below 1500rpms bucking is worst in 3rd and 4th gear...also the idle jumping is annoying...plus the fact that i don't get good power until 3k is another factor..i was going to go back down to tampa to let jeremy see if he could fix it but when the time cam the car messed up then i fixed it then it acted perfect!!! and now it is back doing the same ole crap...

The TSP 231/237 needs 4.10's to be driven daily well.
It's not a low end cam by any means. It made great low end on my finished setup, but that was due to the QTP HVMC LT's and 90/90. It was a dog down low when I didn't have that LT and intake combo.

The F13 and F14 seem awesome, make the tq numbers as well.

off your experience what do you think would be best (f-13, f-14) the reason i'm not going way radical is because i plan fi (different cam obviosly) later down the road...i don't want to have to redo stuff (like heads) then...

It is all in the tune. My 232 239 109lsa bucked and jerked like crazy on the old tune but with my new tune zero jerking and bucking at any speed

I've neither driven, nor heard a futral cammed car.
I've read that people who want hard, definitive lope, are not satisfied with F13. Yet, I've never heard anyone complain about the performance of their F13.

I think the bolded ranges above should be your deciding factor.

The tuner he's used is one of the best available down here.

I love my F14, although like said above, the power band is a little higher than the F13. Mine bucks a bit when under 1500, but I'm rarely driving around at 1200 rpm....
I do think alot of mine is due to still having 3.42 geared 10bolt. All worrys and small drivability issues are easily solved with a few WOT blasts This thing pulls like a damn train all the way to shift points. If I trusted the bottom end I'd shift this damn thing at 7200.

Dude...LOL...

This is your before-and-after:

198/209 .498/.497 119LSA
232/234 .598/.598 112LSA

A LIL bit? You need a tune A LOTTA bit. Get that thing tuned, bro! No more bucking/surging. Better gas mileage and driveability 10fold.

I have a F13 112+4, I am real happy with it. It drives nice, has a good cam sound and pulls so awesome!
Best mph 120.88 with a 3470lbs race weight.
I would think that the F13 would have just a little better drivability then the F14, but the F14 should make a little more power (maybe 10hp/10tq in the upper RPM).
If I did it again, I would give up a little drivability of the F13 for the F14 if I fact it makes more power.
I would call Alan at FMS and he could give you the big picture, maybe he could post two dyno charts with similar set-ups for us all to see.

You would stand to pick up alot with an f13 or f14 over your cam, in both power and drivability. Having driven/ridden in your car, I know this from experience

Peace,
Josh
