Default Those with dual valve springs. How long do you let you car warm up?

I have PP dual valve springs and usually let my car get to operating temperature before I drive. Sometimes I am in a rush and wonder what the minimum allowable time it takes to safely warm up heads with this style spring.

In S. Cal. I idle about 1 minute before driving off, but I drive easy until the oil is at least 150'

I start driving immediatly, i just dont go over 2500rpms until the car is at full temp. No point in sitting in the driveway, just gonna make it take longer to warm up.

I usually wait until the needle hits the first part on the temp guage, then I still keep it at low rpm until fully warm.

I hop in and drive (below 2500rpms) till coolant temp is between the first and second mark (i can't remember what that is) but that is as high as my car's temp ever get, so that is full operating temp for me.

They don't break easily, it's just they will be stressed a lot more without some heat in them. Therefore, it's better to warm up the engine a little before you start turning some rpm.

Like some others, I prefer to immediately start driving, but I keep my rpm below 2,000 until the motor is in closed loop (over 150 degrees). That's pretty much how I drive it anyway...nearly 95% of my driving is 2000 rpm and below. That's why I love this cam. I can lug the motor down to 600 or zing it up to 6800 (once warm). AFR uses the same springs as Patriot so they're pretty good!
