Default How to fix valve float?

Well I am wondering what sort of fixes there are for valve float. My power peaks at 5500 and slowly drops off from there, and gets a little wavy. Right now I have chrome-moly pushrods and Comp 918 springs. Would getting titanium retainers and roller rockers help at all?

you have roller rockers in your motor right now

how much boost are you running? Jason nailed it. check the condition of your springs. platinum PRCs might be a good idea if you need the pressure.

i figured, but most sets of RR's out there actually cause more valvefloat then they fix. just too heavy over the valve.

If new rockers cause valve float then why do all the big power guys use new rockers?

The high dollar rockers are good. but most of the lesser brands have been reported to cause valvefloat. Jesel, T&Ds....those should be fine.
