Well i have a Stealth II 224/220, .581/.581 116lsa+0
And it lopes with Mac/ORY/Hooker
But it is not not Thumpedidump more like a nervous chopchop on amphetamines.

the noise is from the ramp rate, a "sewing machine like sound" alot of people say. IDK about most TR cams, but the TR224 has a ramp rate of under 30, 100% sure. dont remember where i got the .060 from, but i had it, and it was 27 or so, can't remember exactly

Ok, i installed the High Flow cat converters....first off, the sound is rasp free now, secondly, it sounds more vette, less f-body..its nice, refined almost.
The lope is almost gone, its like a soft gallop, very soft...perhaps after tuning it will be stealth. Its nice quality, not choppy, its rythmatic. Ill get some sound clips still. But, for those of you buying this cam with LT's and ORY expect a lope.
Still pulls good too.

Are there any P/V issues with the .600 lift of this cam? I'm really interested in running it with some stage II LS1 heads and stock manifolds. Headers are nice but so is the quiet of stock
Is the consensus that CC 918 springs should not be run with this cam? Would running Comp 921 or other dual springs allow me to get away virtually maintenance free with that high lift?
Any help is appreciated!!

918's will be more than enough (I wish people woul get away from that phobia), BTW 921's and 918's have almost same lift tolerance.
918's and tit retainers will give a lighter valvetrain, better harmonic control at higher rpms, and actualy might even give a couple more hp.
If you do not want to maintain your valvetrain, please do not swap a cam in.
