Default Good cam for a daily...??

Comp 224/224 .567 .567 +4 115 LSA cam (XE lobes) on a 04' LS1 vette with Kooks 1 3/4" headers and 3"offroad xpipe, Vararam intake, and B&B cat back exhaust. Going to use chromemoly pushrods and Patriot gold dual valvesprings w/titanium retainers and stock rocker arms...???

dunno.

I know the Futral Motorsports are supposed to be AWESOME and have GREAT GREAT driveability. the FM13's atleast.

That doesnt answer your question though. I am sorry.. I am new to the cam world.. I figured i would throw this cam into the mix for you to see if you like it.

that 115lsa is high though. You going to be running juice or something?

Yeah it would be nice on the street, with a supercharger youll want a real good tune to compensate for the S/C.

I think of it this way, ANY CAM is good for a DAILY...it jsut depends on how you drive.

EDIT- My mistake you said TR244 but I don't believe i ever heard of that cam

I think you would be okay with that size cam, I've been running mine daily for the past three years with no problems except for the springs, I broking mine twice and replaced them with crane duals...

I meant 224. I have one and it drove fine. Was a great cam for daily driving. With all the bolt ons I did 401 rwhp and 397 tq to the wheels. SAE corrected. The cam is great. Godd luck with your choices. I have gone another route

I also have the 224/224 .563/.563 112 dont have many things done to my 00 ws6 some boltons but I love the cam and the way it sounds. Very good for a daily drive.
