1. It's not the Vinci way, it's the Crane way.

2. We did it "our way" and my motor is running strong after several thousands of miles. Dyno and track results below attest to this.

agreed, i spoke with Roger and as is listed in his tech tips, AFR's require .100 longer p/rod than original 7.25's from crane.

milling .024 to acheive 62cc chamber, predator-z, would you recommend a 7.325 p/rod?

If Roger recommends .100 rod taller so it would be 7.350
Substract .024 from that and you get 7.326 so yes 7.325 will work pretty good.

They sure do and Vinci has had a lot of input in certain items. I have a Vinci handheld programmer, made by Crane and it has more stuff to it than the Crane one.

let's put it this way. they work VERY closely with each other in the LSx area. VERY CLOSE.

does the set screws look right they arent flush with the top of the adjuster nut but i did 1 1/2 turns.

if you adjusted according to instructions, you are fine. There were about two threads exposed when I completed my install. It is going to make some noise at startup, but should go away in a couple minutes.
