Default first impressions of TEA heads/TR cam!!

After waiting 3 weeks for head bolts I finally got the car back together last night. new mods are as follows

TEA S2 5.3 heads
TR 224 112 cam
LS6 intake
asp underdrive crank pulley

started the car up and I was SHOCKED!! The cam really roars! I was suprised, I didn't get an SES light, no idle fluxuation, nothing. The valve train isn't as noisy as I thought it was going to be. To bad I had to come back to school last night so I won't be able to drive it untill spring break. I'm really happy with the car. Many thanks to jmX for his great install instructions. I'll get some dyno numbers for you guys in the spring. Other mods in sig.

Are you gonna get any tuning? With those mods, I think you could really see even better gains with tuning. Either way, I envy you, I cant wait to get my heads and cam in this spring!!!

I do plan on getting tuning in the spring when the weather gets nice so I can make the long drive for ls1edit.

I fired it up around 7pm but didn't get a chance to drive it for I had to make the 5hr drive down here to school last night. Hopefully i'll be able to take it for a spin in the next couple weeks.

No **** Harold, you went to Tech for a while? I have been there off and on since '97 trying to finish up my undergrad. When were you here?
