Guys my car is acting really weird. I just got some longutbes installed about a month ago, and the car just recently started acting weird..Car seems to like bog completely down every once in a while..Like it will shut off, but it comes right back on..it feels like its gonna run out of gas..My friend put it on a scanner and it said i had some thrown codes, obviously from my longtubes and no cats no, but there was something with the MAF, and this code that said "Extended Valve Pintle Stuck Open" my buddy asked one of his friends and he said i should get new fuel injectors, he said thats what it sounds like. I just wanted to see what u guys thought its possible it could be? Thanks for the help guys

 

sounds like your egr valve is hangin open, pull it out and clean the pintle , that should by you some time if not fix it permanently

 

so you think its just the EGR valve? not the injectors like my buddy thinks? im gonna probably take it in somewhere to have them look at it so they can tell me whats wrong.

 

i am having the same prob. I just installed ngk tr6s and removed the AIR sytem and put block off plates on.

 

i just installed new plugs too when i installed my headers, but i still have the air system in though. Im soo confused

 

I swear it has something to do with the plugs, I have never had this problem before and if you didnt !AIR then it must be the plugs. SOMEONE HELP!
