Default Running bad

just got the head and cam done and drove it today but it runs poorly im shure i just need a tune i got it to idle desent but its at like 1200 rpm which i know is too high also the performance is not amazing im thinking between the 42# injectors and the 90/90 and the cam and heads the tune is really bad and this is the only reason its not fast it feels like it did before

Definitly get a tune. What size is the cam? With the new injectors and 90/90 it's defintly going to be running all over the place. 1200 rpms is way to high for idle.

It would have been better if not for the injectors. Some of you guys KILL me by posting stuff like this.
My advice is go ASAP to the tuner and do not even try to run the motor hard, you'll be sorry.

It washes the oil off you cylinder walls causing your rings to burn up.

If you only ran it for a little while you should be ok. Burning oil (blue exhaust smoke) would be one symtime You could also check your commpression. Get it tuned ASAP.
