Default lash question

my lash is set at 3/4 turn past zero lash. should i put a spacer under the rockers to bring the lash to a 1/4 turn past zero lash? with my 7.350 PR and .024 mill with .045 head gaskets i came up with .031 closer to cam per the pushrod calculator

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...rod+calculator

so if take 7.400 - .031= 7.369

so with 7.350 PR i was gonna add a .014 shim under the rockers. what do ya think?
also my zo6 85mm MAF was butted against my varam , not fully attached during my dyno. i dont know if that would affect my dyno or not.

Use shims to get rocker geometry right, use pushrod length to get preload right. If you know how much less preload you want, you know how much shorter pushrods you want too. Measuring is better than math in this case.
