Default having some tuning issues w/ f13

Hey guys, well i am having a few issues with my car i need a little advice. I have the fm13 (112 +4) with TEA 5.3 heads (prc valve springs) and the fast 90 intake and NW throttle body. The car hunts for idle every time i start it up, cold or hot. It hunts for about 15 seconds then it runs fine. I can drive it to town and cut it off to run in a store and when i come back out it does the same thing all over again. I was riding a buddie of mine in it the other day and i went wot and after i finished i let off the gas and put the car in netural and coasted for awhile... well the car cut off while i was coasting about 90 mph and i had to press the clutch in and crank the car real fast and had to keep feathering the throttle to keep it running. The tuner said that the hunt for idle was always going to be there and that the fast intake was a bitch to tune sometimes. The graph is in my sig and any ideas would be great. thanks guys

Humm, have you check to see if there are air leaks around the manifold anywhere, and that it's sealing properly?

Have you talked to Futral? I'm curiuos as I'm soon to installan F14 with 5.3 heads. I'm trying to decide on tuning via mail in to Allan or email with Running with the devil. I like the idea of not having to ship my PCM out and the email tune is about half price, but will I have similar probs??? I'm running LS6 intake and stock MAF and TB for now. I'll need to at least port the TB during H/C swap.

have you tuned the car any? raised the idle any? i'd make sure you have no vaccum leaks like mentioned above.. that will do some funny things to idle!

yes the car has been tuned, and ive taken it back to him once already and im about to take it back to him again. the f13 is not susposed to act like this. Hell a buddie of mine has a g5x3 that drives alot better than mine.

Have you drilled the TB hole any? I'm running the same combo and mine idles like a champ! I drilled the TB hole some and tweaked the IAC tables. BTW.....Good numbers on the setup. The F13 continues to put up good numbers!

I think it is in the tuning,Allen at Futral tuned my car, basic bolt on 02SS with a F11(112+4) and got 408/390 out of it with 4.10's(10 bolt) and 25lbs in the 315 Nitto's on 17X11 on Zr1's, full belt, AF installed but with the cut out open. Mine does take about 10 seconds to find idle when cold but is fine on warm start up.

I sent him an email, but i havent heard anything yet. I think it is in the tuning also. I wish i lived closer to him because i would let him tune it..... it is his cam after all. Im sure he knows what to look for and where to tweak.

Futral did all of my stuff. Results in the sig. Needless to say, I'm impressed.
