what is 5.7 perimeter bolt??? I'm running PRC 2.5 heads.

98 style castings have a valvecover that uses perimeter bolts to hold it on vs. centerbolts with the later model covers.

Either casting is the same. The combustion chamber is just smaller on the 5.3's. Same ports and all that good stuff.

I posted results from a set of 5.7's that have the same port work, but stock valves in them in the dyno section back a week or two ago.. I guess you could call them a stage 1 or 1.5. It was a 382 car with a small cam. They worked out really good.

Gomer I've been wondering how you went to a bigger cam and (I would think) better heads, and ended up with much lower numbers.
