Default whats holding my setup back? the heads?

Here are my following performance mods:
Comp Cam 232/234 .595/.598
MTI Stage II Heads
FLP 1 3/4" Headers
borla exhaust
FAST 90mm manifold
Nick Williams TB
MTI Lid
Vig 3600 TC
Racetronixs fuel pump
MTI tune

all through a moser 12-bolt

it pulled 412rwhp and 368tq on the dynojet 91.3 degrees, 30.32-0.95 in.Hg, 0 ft., CF=1.01. still have a 150shot but didnt run that on the dyno.

what do you think is the problem and holding back some power?

those number seem right to me. You lose a little power for the auto, then the big stall in the auto and more through the 12 bolt. For an auto heads/ cam car those numbers seem good

Well you really feel torque more so than horsepower. I'm sure the car feels like more than 368 ft-lbs because of the auto+converter. 412 at the wheels through an auto does kick ***, is your setup supposed to be a 500 crank hp package?

Those look like real good numbers. Was the converter locked or unlocked during the run because that will factor into your dyno numbers. Also what type of dyno was it done on because different dynos will spit out different numbers. I wouldnt worry about it though, as long as it feels fast, which from your setup it looks like it hauls *** then thats all that matters and if your still hungry for more throw that 150 shot on! Good luck and sounds like one sweet Z!

Looks good to me.
Seen better but not in those weather conditions.
We had a 224/230 with every bolt on Fast 90/90 AFR205 heads A4 10 bolt car make 402 a few weeks ago in similar conditions.

how much do you think a set of AFR 205s or 225s would help me out? or what head would be best.

Those numbers are actually pretty good.. MARKSZ71 had PRC 2.5's, with a 226/226 cam, ls6 intake, full bolt ons thru stock rear end and 3800 stall. He put down 408rwhp or something like that. So, your numbers are pretty much average..

The AFR 205's would perform better on a stock bottom end LS1.. But, if you are wanting big numbers on a dyno then you need to do a M6 conversion.. or build a 408! lol

You are correct the #'s are too low, particularly the torque. I think you should be around 425 rwhp and 400 rwtq with those heads and cam. Have you thought about SVO 30 # injectors? FWIW some dyno's read low, even with a great setup.

Well we need to know if the converter was locked or not before we can say what it should have done torque wise..

These #'s do not look right. Should be in the 430rwhp and over 400 rwtq.
A4's eat a little power but not as much as poeple would lead you to believe.

If you go through the hassel of swaping heads make sure you order a set to get you some good compression.
Maybe a set of 5.3's milled a bit from TEA would work nice.
If you already have 5.3's and 11:1+ compression I would say to just leave the heads alone.
Save money for the bigger cubed motor.
Did you have to flycut?

did not have to flycut, ya the torque seemed extremely low. i was thinking about bigger injectors. which ones should i get. plan on doing 408 later on

If those numbers are locked, then yes, those numbers are low. Locked numbers shouldn't be far off from M6 numbers. I'd think 450-460 in an M6 with those mods and 430-440 locked in an auto. Unlocked it might be around 415-420, but the torque would be much higher that what you are showing.

Unless your A/F is off, your injectors arent hurting anything.
