Are you using 918s??? I have several friends using them with like cams and the noise is considerably less. That is what I had planned... My experiment was to hit 450 rwhp with a FAST 90/90 and the A&A oil sump vacuum pump....AND lower my valve train noise levels...

I know, had to get he info though....

I like the Comp grinds personally and just bought a 281 XER for my FRC. Specs are 232/234 dur. & .595./.598 on 112. Does anyone have an idea what the max. lift /duration cam is before having to fly cut pistons? I see conflicting reports here and think it would help the originator of this post as well.

Have not yet dyno'ed the car because of lack of time but how it compares to others around here it runs pretty strong and i'd guess around 340 rwhp. Just wondering a cam that will net around a 80 or more rwhp gain.
My buddy with a magic stick and afr 205s put down 260...

the trex in my car is putting down well over 450 on a stock rear which im assuming that is what you still have. 4.10's are ok but more gear is much nicer, ive had both, also, finding someone that knows how to tune big cams for drivability is a big help for street duty, i daily drove my trex for 3 months with 4.56 gears and a stage 4 clutch and i had no issues other than the fact that i was to lazy to put my ac back in.
