Not on a 112 lsa, it is a bit tighter than .080/.100, but a few poeple run them like that.
I advise to degree the cam to make sure it is installed at said LSA/ICL (this also verifies the grind is correct).
And this is with a stock valved/unmilled/stock gasket setup.

I am in the market, and this cam is what I would like to install. I have 243 heads/stock valve size and unmilled. Stock GM graphite head gaskets. As long I know it will fit with out fly cutting, it's going in by the wheel. Does anyone know if there is any advance ground into the 112 cam? If so, the 114 may be more of what I am needing for more power in the lower rpm's.

I think you would be OK but the 114 may be what you are looking, you could email LG and see what they say about the PTV clearance if they have any info.

112 for more low rpm power, 114 moves the band higher in rpms.
114 will have more clearance and is better suited for street safe applications.
112 is below recommended "safe" PTV margins, still not too bad though. Less of an issue in autos than M6s.

if they can get a HPE Megadeath (242/244 111LSA) and a Trex to fit in a stock block 346 with LS6 heads, then I don't see whats the problem with a G5X3

Yeah, that is normal, every grind will vary a bit, depends on machine calibration at time of grind, 2* variance is acceptable norm for grinds.

The generic lobe specs are 234/242 XE-R

Mine spec'ed out to exactly 234/242 .600/.610 112 +4. As did a few others I've seen.
Both the G5X2 and G5X3 have 4* advance ground in.

Have really like this cam, I had it in my car (393rwhp Mustang Dyno, A4, Yank4000, headers, cai) ran 11.6@117 with a 1.51 60'. I have had one 2002 A4 F-body make 412rwhp (Mustang dyno) with this cam with the same set up as mine. I've also had a headers cam LS6 with this cam make 422rwhp on our Mustang dyno.

Quick Reply: I bought the G5X3 cam... does anyone have info?
