I agree. Earlier I said to check out the MS3 or G5X3, but the X4 is probably an option as well as a larger Futral grind. F14 or F15 even.
I have no problems daily driving my MS3. Just a little stumble here and there.

for a cam like the trex The ideal setup with a A4 would be a 4000+ stall on 4.10's or 3.73's but Im sure your setup will work, but probly not as efficient.. I would do like predator-z said fm13 or g5x3 there still pretty large cams...

I daily drive a moderate sized cam (see sig) and probably wouldn't go very much bigger, F13 or Torquer II at most, and I don't mind a little bit of unruliness. However, the TRex is way bigger and just flat out nasty . Talk to the guys at thunder, they're great. I think they'd recommend one of their smaller cams for you.

Don't count on hitting 400rwhp cam only through an auto. It happens, but more often than not it doesn't.

MS3 is sold by TSP www.texas-speed.com
G5 series cams can be found at www.lgmotorsports.com.
Search button on this site will tell you more than those websites, though.
Don't count on or worry about 400 rwhp through an auto. Dyno numbers alone mean next to nothing. I have 385 rwhp and ran 11.92 in June on stock suspension with no weight reduction mods. *none that cost money, only minor things like rear seats, FSB and spare tire/jack.*
The MS3 and G5X4 are both larger than the F14.

Yes those times are current. Ran on ET streets, 60' was 1.64. I don't know what you are going by, but 11.9 isn't exactly "way slow" for a cam only daily driver F-body. To put in perspective I ran 12.6 with stall, lid, CAI, longtubes, duals, and ET streets (untuned). Then I ran 12.21 with the cam/tune, and finally the 11.92 with LS6 intake, SLP UD pulley and fully functional transmission.

Oh wait, that's me. I'm the one with the full bolt-on car that runs high 13's.
