Default Can bad rocker arm adjustment cost me 100rwhp?

my recent dyno after all the headaches with tuning net 387rwhp...

I have heads and cam and that same combo netted on a camaro 484rwhp on an ls1 block... cam is 226/230 113lsa

Any ideas????

afr was from 11.6 to 12.2 at the end

the dyno wb was reading 10.6 to 12.6....

still, tuning will not net 100rwhp.

484 RWHP is a lot for that cam...yours seems more accurate, if not maybe ~20 rwhp short.

We lost 98 hp due to the wrong spark plugs. They were too short and didnt even get close to getting into the chamber. It went from a little over 500hp to 600hp with the correct plugs in it. Just an idea. Yes a bad rocker adjusment could cost you alot of power, by letting the valve hang open.

I was told on another forum that i could have the wrong cam...

pre 02 cams where 19.7 base circle and laters where 19mm.. this is an 01 with an 04 engine ... if by some reason i have a 19.7mm base circle that is 27 thousands the valve is open... its still less than .050 but it should bleed off some of the pressure specially at higher rpms where i feel the car is loosing way too much..
