Putting a relatively big cam in without dyno tuning, is similar to doing a heart operation on yourself without a surgeon being present. NUTS. The handheld tuners may have some attributes with baby cams, however you never know where you are really at until you do a dyno tune with broadband afr.

A friend and I just finished up a Comp XER 242/248 .610/.615 111lsaAFR 205's milled .034 with Cometics .040. Cranked it up night before last , idles so smooth it's scary. The car already has tuning from a 224/228. We also installed 30# SVO's. The car will be dyno tuned this Tuesday, relying on a handheld is asking for big problems. Do a search.
