This was the original version. Pretty much full bolt ons: LT's, 3" duals, ported TB, ASP pulley, lid. Stock water pump. My tq #'s were a little on the low side though.

Cool man.. Hopefully I can put down close to 400 with the FAST setup... The newer version of the 233/239 is suppose to be a little more torquey down low so maybe it will make up for the loss that the old cam had.

I've been thinking about trying the new one, but then if I'm gonna tear it all down again I may as well go with the MS3...

FWIW I made 385 hp in my A4 w/ the 233/239 unlocked, then 401 rwhp w/ the converter locked. This is w/ stock LS6 intake and stock 241 heads.
That was my first guess. That or a random spike that was recorded.

I didn't say that there was.. Just saying that TSP said the new cam is suppose to put down more torque than the older version..

i have a 230/236 .589/.598 with a 90/90 full bolt ons and a huge 4000 2.5 stall and i put down 399.49 rwhp locked with 4.10 gears in a 12 bolt through an A4.

to get over 400 in a A4 you need a huge cam or a 10 bolt and factory stall....

RWHP dont mean **** if your an auto.... we get torque multiplication...

dont base your choices on HP ratings...

I'm not basing my setup choice on dyno numbers.. I've already got all of these parts.. Just gotta get the Nick Williams TB, valve springs, and a converter.. I was just curious because I haven't really seen any numbers with a cam only A4 car with the FAST 90 setup.. And, I know that if I can get around 390-400 to the wheels with the A4 that I can lay the pimp hand down on most cam only 6spd cars..

Thanks for the info Ty_Ty 13.. And there is nothing wrong with running the 1/8th mile.. Hell thats where all the fun happens anyways..

i also agree... but alot of times the late model F-bods tend to hand around the 1/4

but the closest 1/4 is about 3 hours.... closest 1/8 is about 1.5 hours

Not trying to start anything up. I was just curious why you were setting up a cam only setup, after you had already purchased heads...

Just a question man.

Damn dude that sucks.. I've got a 1/8th mile track less than 5 minutes from me, another one about 30 minutes from me, another one about 45 minutes from me, and the 1/4 mile track is 45 minutes from me. Got the best track in the state about 2 hours away.

I remember that LG did a Z06 with the LG Longtubes, FAST 90/90, and the G5X3-114 and made like 445rwhp 420rwtq. You will not hit anywhere close to that, but you can still make pretty good numbers with the FAST and your cam.

Yeah I think it will do pretty good.. Hopefully I'll have all this crap put together pretty soon. I'm anxious to see how it runs with the stock heads..

you sure that was cam only?

that is a TON of TQ for the G5x3, much less any cam only setup.

I thought it was AFR 205 headed....
