Who Has The Best Reputation For Building Short Blocks? im about to buy a stock cubes short block, im just wondering who i can trust, and what some of you guys have in your cars, and whats held up and whats blown up

Joe Sherman comes to mind, along with Kurt at Wheel to Wheel, which that shop has built both of the fastest (Casper)and second fastest LSx Engine. Cartek. LME. MTI. HPE. Race Engine Development.
I'd add Hardcore Motorsports, but it would be cheaper to send it to Wheel 2 Wheel yourself and skip the middle man.

HPE here, great service, very quick turn around, etc.
Erik had a shortblock to me (along with a few other valve train pieces) within 2 weeks.
Give them a call, their prices are great, and service is amazing.

Everyone has built junk here too..even MTI and Lingenfelter....just depends if you get one on a good day....build it yourself and there is no one else to blame...but it sucks and is alot of work...they all earn their pay.
