Default LS6 intake installed and now MISFIRE!

Did a search and saw some of the possiblities it could be such as plugs, plug wires but checked the wires and made sure they were all on tight, Still misfiring, so i pulled all the plugs and wires and they are good. What else could it be. I checked the car and drove it before the intake install and it ran great, cranked it up after install and it idles at 1k rpm and you put it in drive/reverse and it shakes real bad along wth the flashing SES light. If it is a bent or broke push rod how could i see it since the springs kinda cover the rods?

check the coil packs if they correctly plugged in, check if all the injectors are seated properly and all connected.

Did you re-connect the electric cable at the back the intake? Did you reconnect the two vaccum lines - one small one and one large brake booster line?

How is the oil pressure? The oil sensor is in back of the engine and the brake booster tube that connects to the intake often get pulled against the sensor breaking it.

re-check the coil pack wires, injector wires, etc.

Did you use a plastic fuel disconnect tool to separate the fuel rails?

reconnected the brake booster tube and its still connected, as for that t-line looking thing in the back of the intake a freind connected but i will check it, the oil pressure is fine so the oil sensor should be good right? We were careful with the peice so we didnt brake it when we put the intake on.

Check the small vacuum line at the back of the manifold. It's a PIA to get on and slips off pretty easily.

After hearing all of your symptoms and cant find anything wrong with plugs, injectors, coils, or wires, you sure its a misfire?? From what you said in your first post about it shakin real bad and SES, sounds like a vacuum or maybe a bad 02 Sensor.

Checking the codes that have been thrown is a good idea! Do u have a code reader? If no, buy one at Harbor Freight for $40 bucks...

It clears codes too.

two things: o2 sensors are turned off so it cant be them, and again if it was a vacuum leak would i hear it? just asking, im new to this stuff and try to do any work myself without ever working on a car before so if it is a vacuum leak why am i not hearing, and which line would it be that might cause this leak?

If its that small vacuum line on the back of the intake and it was off, I dont think you will hear it, not with all that engine racket, not to mention its way back there. In your case, way under the cowl.

Make a post in the TX forum. Im sure you have someone near you that has a code checker that can come over. Tehre is only liek 2million LS1Techer's in in TX.
About the problem, you say the whole car is shaking at idle. I have had a ton of misfire issues adn issues were im not getin spark at all and even then the car doesnt seem too bad. So for the car to be undriveable from this issue i would say wither you have half teh engine not firing or it aint spark related. Do what i do. Take the wires off 1 at a time and see if it makes a difference. If the car gest worse you knwo it aint that cylinder but it coule be 2 things. Either it aint gettin spark or it aint gettin gas.
Check the fuel injector fuses. Tehre is 2. 1 for each bank of injectors. Also check that you have all teh injector power wires connected to each injector.
Also make sure you got the MAF connected. GL man
