Default Head milling, thickness, and Nitrous?

I'll be putting my motor together next weekend and have some questions on Nitrous use. The motor will be 347, callies rods, diamond pistons, TEA ls6 heads milled .030, arp head studs, and .040 cometics. My question is how much nitrous is safe before a head that is milled .030 will distrort and cause it to lift over the cyclinder? Thoughts are 150 for the most part with 200-250 at the track and dyno tuning runs. With as much of the jug that is sprayed around here I'm sure someone has found the limits!

I have more or less the same motor as you and have same question. I have my motor apart right now and am looking at milling the heads with some more port work but have all forged internals. I will be spraying a 250 shot if that helps any. All i have is forged lunati rods, forged 6.0l crank, forged diamond pistons and the new ms3 cam.

Y2K,
Spoke to a few knowledgeable guys and all have said that a 250 is the largest they would be comfortable with. Said we should have no problem with it as long as the tuning and fuel is there.

I'll cut it off at 250 as that is alot of spray. I'm ready to get it together and see how it does.

I have mine apart or i would tell you some #s and some times from a auto but i found some more goodies like a sheet metal intake, underdrives since i still dont have them, line lock, 3500 stall, and 4:10s. But im hoping on spray with a 250 at or right around 700rwhp. Im doing some head work thats the only reason i responded to what you had to say, and im hoping to get mine milled for more compression, and ported and polished just a tad bit more!
