Lots of people run the CC918s and have good luck with them. I bet they would work great with your set up.

Are they new heads?? if so they come with dual Patriot gold and more than enough for that cam.
If you have he heads and just want to replace springs then just get PP "Gold" replacements. (That is if they need replacing)

I love my 918s... 5000miles and no problem regularly hitting my 6900rpm limit. I would recommend to use with hardened pushrods and Ti retainers. My cam is 222/224 .566/.568 112LSA

I'm using them with a 224/.572 cam, hardened pushrods, and 1.75 rockers. The 918s are an unbeatable spring, as long as you don't need the duals

thanks for the info guys.
these are new heads. what I'm looking at is to avoid floating valves or crash. I want to be able to set rev limit to 6600 and shift around 6300 rpm's . Hot Rod mag did a test on the beehive springs and found that these springs can rev about 1000 rpm more then the dual springs before any of these symptons accur. just trying to get alot of info on the beehive springs.

thanks again guys

Then you'll be getting Patriot Gold duals good to .650 lifts. No need to change them.

The PP "Gold" will be fine for that cam, I would just invest in a better lifter as a Comp 850-16 or Crane replacements.
Comps are $199 and Crane a little more $275 (better than Comp though)
Most issues are with stockers collapsing.
