Heads
Actually we stated we would have the next run of parts in late October and fill orders, that is being done and is still being done. As for Dyno numbers, watch and see, many of people have these heads already and Wheel2Wheel is getting ready to run some, after someone else's cnc ported heads wouldnt make the number and after flowing those heads found that our as cast heads do hold a candle to the ported heads that are made out there. And the wet flow bench which flows at .55" verified that our as cast head will compete with the big boys...We are shipping another 40 right now and still have another 300 being machined now....

Are both the 205 and the 225cc heads as cast, or are the 225 CNC ported to the 225cc mark from the 205 blank? What valvetrain differences are there between the two? I am just trying to see where the almost $200 per head extra for the 225cc comes from.
Thanks!

Both heads were the same price last week. I think that there may be a price increase on both, not just the 225's. May be due to changing over from the SBC valves, etc. I don't know for sure.

Shipping
Guys we are shipping about 75-80 per week, the demand is high and the result have been awesome. We are striving to get these to people asap. We just returned from the PRI show and the response was awesome in regards to these heads. But a few questions that kept creaping up were in regards to a few things we do different.
1) Why the smaller diameter valve guides? We decided the smaller diameter guide allowed for us to shrink guide boss. We did this because testing the heads with the ported models we used to develop the as cast ports the fuel and air stream when tested on the wet flow bench showed favorable results, so we use the smaller guides.
2) Why no thread inserts? At Dart we strive to use only Pure Virgin Ingit 355 alloy, this material by design is stronger, more repairable, denser, and has less elongation than 356 often used by the competition.
3) Why no steel inserts where the heads bolt holes are? Same as above answer really, when using a material that is superior in strength, has more tolerance to distortion and failure there is no need to "band aid" a problem.
4) What do you do with the area behind the seats? We blend the bowls in every aluminum Pro 1 heads we make, and also the LS heads, this has been our standard for years. This eliminates the edges that are commonly found that can have some affect on the heads.
Thanks

The bulk of our shipment began the last week of November, many people are just now recieving their orders. As far as results - check the post by Kurt Urban on this forum titled "dart as cast test" where the Dart as cast head is compared apples to apples to one of the fully cnc'd heads that many on this board rave about.
Also Bret Bauer has done some playing around with some of the early castings of these heads - look for his post as well.

1 question about the valve springs...
They are beehive and similar to the 918's.
I heard they are good to .650 lift. Is this correct? I thought .600 was it and how about RPM's with a hydraulic cam and stock type lifters.
